Epsilon Foundation Partnership Begins in Odisha, India

ODISHA, INDIA – We are excited to announce a new partnership with Epsilon Foundation, the CSR arm of Epsilon Carbon Private Limited, to benefit smallholder farmers in Jharsuguda district, Odisha, India.
Working together, Epsilon Foundation and East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation (EWS-KT) are taking a vital step to uplift rural livelihoods through sustainable and market-oriented vegetable production. This project, called Enhancing Farmers’ Incomes Through Promotion of Sustainable Vegetable Production Practices, is implemented by EWS-KT with support from Epsilon Foundation’s Project Agri-Empower CSR program.
The initiative combines hands-on field training with digital empowerment, ensuring that farmers gain practical skills and have long-term access to the latest agricultural knowledge. In total, the project will directly train 500 smallholder farmers and reach another 500 through social media and digital learning platforms like GrowHow. In-person training includes modules on agronomy, integrated pest management (IPM), climate-smart practices, and business planning to enhance smallholder farmers’ resilience, incomes, and livelihoods through vegetable production.
Together, Epsilon Foundation and EWS-KT are blending innovation, field-based training, and digital outreach to create lasting agricultural impact in Jharsuguda district.
