From Tobacco Earnings Once a Year to Sustainable Monthly Income
Amos Pariyo grew up in a tobacco farming community in northwestern Uganda. Tobacco brings in income just once a year, however, and the lack of steady income makes it difficult to sustain a family and afford school fees. Armed with new knowledge and skills from EWS-KT, Amos is now a vegetable farmer, staggering the planting of his crops to ensure harvests—and income—all year round.
