Sathiyabama Baskaran

Sathiyabama Baskaran is the Regional Head for South Asia. In this role, she supports strategic vision and project management in Bangladesh and India. She also serves as Knowledge Transfer Manager for India, where she formulates and leads initiatives aimed at equipping smallholder farmers with the knowledge and tools to increase their vegetable production and profits. She works closely with both internal and external stakeholders to build a community of sustainable farming.

Sathiyabama has over 15 years of experience in the development sector and 11 years of experience in the corporate sector in various leading roles. She brings deep experience in agriculture value chains and operationalizing CSR initiatives for leading private organizations. Having come from the development sector and with experience in working with respected corporates, she has a thorough understanding of both sectors, which has enabled her to create meaningful partnerships and deliver the best to society according to industry standards and best practices.
