Lysette Lacambra
Lysette Lacambra is the Technical Support Hub Manager for East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation. In this global role, she strengthens the capacity of local field teams across EWS-KT countries in Africa and Asia and develops technical materials aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of smallholder farmers.
Lysette has been working extensively with farmers for over 15 years, focused on knowledge transfer and training approaches that enable smallholders to be more productive and successful. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agriculture, with a major in plant pathology, from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Her passion for plant health and integrated pest management (IPM) led her to pursue further studies for a master’s degree in plant sciences with a specialization in plant pathology and entomology from Wageningen University & Research.
