Lysette Lacambra is the Technical Support Hub Manager for East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation. She has been working extensively with farmers for over 15 years, focused on knowledge transfer and training approaches that enable smallholders to be more productive and successful. In her current position, she takes on a group-level role to strengthen the capacity of local field teams across EWS-KT countries in Africa and Asia and to develop technical materials aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of smallholder farmers. She earned her Bachelor of Science in agriculture, with a major in plant pathology, from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Her passion for plant health and integrated pest management (IPM) led her to pursue further studies for a master’s degree in plant sciences with a specialization in plant pathology and entomology from Wageningen University and Research.
