Strengthening Cooperative Partnerships

On 11 July 2023, we joined three of our partners—longtime partner Wageningen University and Research (WUR) and new partners Koppert Foundation and the Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI)—for a 2-day reflection meeting.
In addition to discussing ongoing projects, common interests, and opportunities for synergistic cooperation, we delved into topics like nature-inclusive agriculture and impact measurement.
Each partner organization contributes unique expertise and experiences that enhance our knowledge transfer efforts for smallholder farmers.
WUR brings a higher level of training for technical field staff, focusing on the rationale behind various techniques. The Koppert Foundation specializes in nature-based solutions for managing insect pests and diseases. CABI offers a wealth of information, skills, and tools to address agricultural and environmental challenges. And at East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation, we leverage our local and field-based experiences, enabling us to capture the context, understand how farmers learn, and identify their specific training needs.
