Sylvie Desilles

Sylvie Desilles is the Sustainable Growth and Development Manager for East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation. In this role, she works to ensure that the impact of EWS-KT initiatives in each country is sustained beyond the duration of project activities. She also supports the country teams to develop measures that nurture the continued progress of farmers in adopting sustainable vegetable production practices and that provide farmers and other stakeholders with continued access to knowledge transfer services and opportunities.

Sylvie has worked for more than 25 years in agriculture development projects in Africa and Asia. She holds an engineering degree in agriculture from Toulouse ESAP, a certificate in management for sustainable development from Wageningen University, a certificate in environmental studies from ACS, and a certificate in ecosystem services (a method for sustainable development) from the University of Geneva.
