Samnang Yen

Samnang Yen is the Team Lead for the Grow Against the Flow project in Cambodia and also leads the Facebook group for East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation in Cambodia. Samnang manages the social media calendar, creates posts for the Facebook group, and coaches the EWS-KT Cambodia team on posts, including providing post concepts, creating videos for posts, and approving posts.

As Team Lead for the Grow Against the Flow project, Samnang is responsible for following up with villages and key farmers in Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, and Kampot provinces; tracking and checking farm demonstration plot data; coaching the project team in the field; and writing quarterly reports on the project’s progress. He earned his master’s degree in sustainable agriculture at Chea Sim University of Kamchaymear.
