Elijah Mwashayenyi

Elijah Mwashayenyi is the Head of Knowledge Transfer for Africa. In this position, he supports strategic vision, project management, and resource mobilization in Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda. Based in Zimbabwe, Elijah has more than 30 years of experience working on horticultural research, agricultural extension, management, food security, income generation, nutrition, rural development, proposal writing, and multiple-stakeholder engagement. He holds a master’s degree in tropical and subtropical horticulture and crop science from the University of London, a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Zimbabwe, a certificate in vegetable seed production from Tsukuba International Agricultural Training Centre (Japan), and a certificate in leadership and management from Skillshare International (United Kingdom).
