Brigit van Dijk van de Reijt

She has an Msc in macro economics from University of Amsterdam, joined ABN AMRO Bank in 1995 prior to joining FMO, the Dutch development Bank. At FMO she was initially responsible for all investments in South and South East Asia, after which she became global head of private equity in 2001. In 2007 she left FMO to become a partner at Aureos Capital, a global emerging markets SME fund, based out of London. In 2010 she moved to Singapore to focus more on investing in Asia. After Aureos Capital was acquired, Brigit joined DOB Equity, a Dutch family owned impact investment fund focusing on East Africa. Based out of Tanzania, she successfully led DOB to become a leading and award-winning impact fund with investments in the dairy and agrifood sector, logistics, retail and distribution, clean energy and in waste management. In 2020 Brigit moved back to the Netherlands with her family, and was appointed the CEO of BOM, the Dutch development agency for the province of North Brabant, catalyzing innovation and entrepreneurship to prosper sustainable economic growth. Next to her daily activities, Brigit is on the supervisory boards of IDH Investment Management and the Netherlands-African Business Council. Brigit is married and has three children.
