Since 2020, EWS-KT has been partnering with PhilRice on projects to help smallholder rice farmers in the Philippines diversify their income by adding vegetable production in their fields. EWS-KT’s 2022 project with PhilRice taught rice farmers in Nueva Ecija and Isabela provinces how to grow vegetables in a sustainable and profitable way.
