It’s here! Explore our impact in 2025 and over the last 5 years in our latest Annual Report.

Inside, you’ll find highlights, accomplishments, and stories from each country and learn how improved vegetable farming practices are resulting in larger harvests and stronger livelihoods. You’ll also see how we are catalyzing sustainable change through techniques to improve soil health, initiatives to facilitate farmers’ integration with markets, and activities to support farmer-led growth and development.

A message from our Executive Director:

Our 2025 Annual Report presents a particularly impactful year at East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation. With co-funding from dedicated partners, we directly reached nearly 188,000 smallholder farmers in Africa and Asia—37,000 more than in 2024. This year also marked an important milestone, with more than 1 million farmers trained since our inception.

Our model works. Our latest impact assessments show that farmers are adopting sustainable, climate-resilient techniques, increasing their vegetable yields, and enhancing their incomes.

In 2025, we also began strengthening the links between farmers and markets—through closer engagement with traders, farmer clustering, and steps toward skills-based certification—while expanding our focus on soil health and more responsible farming practices.

Our accomplishments over the last 5 years have delivered scale and credibility, positioning us for a new phase of growth. Looking ahead, we will continue to expand our reach and deepen our impact, enabling more farmers to improve their livelihoods, produce higher-quality vegetables, and better connect with markets.

Thank you for your support of our work, and I hope you enjoy our 2025 Annual Report.
