Yusuf Magaji Dabai

As Technical Specialist for Nigeria, Yusuf Dabai provides technical support on vegetable production to EWS-KT Nigeria field staff and farmers. 

Yusuf joined the EWS-KT Nigeria team as a Technical Field Officer in 2019 and was elevated to represent Nigeria in the Technical Support Hub in 2021. The Technical Support Hub strengthens the capacity of local field teams across EWS-KT countries and develops extension materials aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of smallholder farmers.

Yusuf began his career as an Extension Agent with the federal government’s National Social Investment Program (N-Power). He then worked for international nongovernmental organization TechnoServe as a Local Community Trainer and with Agripreneurship Professional Services as a Youth Community Representative under the NACOTAN (National Cotton Association of Nigeria) project. Yusuf holds a Bachelor of Agriculture from Bayero University Kano.
