Atikur Rahman

As Knowledge Transfer Manager for Bangladesh, Atikur Rahman leads the EWS-KT Bangladesh team, providing strategic direction and operational support for all EWS-KT activities in the country.

Atikur has more than 13 years of experience in multi-stakeholder development projects and agricultural extension work. Before joining EWS-KT in early 2023, he served as Technical Specialist for Enterprise Development at iDE (formerly International Development Enterprises).

After earning his master’s degree in agricultural extension education from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Atikur began his career as an extension officer and subsequently worked with smallholder farmers as a Training Coordinator with Euroconsult Mott MacDonald and a Master Facilitator with the Department of Agricultural Extension’s Integrated Farm Management Component (IFMC).
