Rutger Groot

Rutger Groot is the Chair of the Board of Trustees at East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation. Rutger is a Dutch national. He obtained a BSc in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham and an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam. As a certified IDP graduate, he is also an alumnus of INSEAD.

Having worked for 20 years in international roles in China, Latin America, and Africa in agricultural finance within the Rabobank Group, he joined EWS Knowledge Transfer in 2017 as its Board Chairman. Rutger also is a Supervisory Board member of East-West Seed as well as of the Netherlands-African Business Council.
