Bosco Omedi

Bosco Omedi is the Technical Specialist for Uganda. Bosco is a senior agronomist specializing in vegetable production. He has over 12 years of experience in agricultural field extension with smallholder farmers in rural areas of Uganda, mostly in the Northern region, with organizations like Volunteer Efforts for Development Concerns (VEDCO), National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS), and Bead for Life. In his current position as Technical Specialist, Bosco trains and supports field staff on the agronomic technical aspects of their work and carries out action research to inform the agronomic practices that field staff train farmers on. He is also a member of the Technical Support Hub (TSH) global. He has been instrumental in implementing EWS-KT training-of-trainers programs, providing training for like-minded organizations like PALM Corps and the University of Juba in South Sudan.
